Mark Sullivan was the 22nd Director of the U.S. Secret Service, serving in this role from 2006 to 2013. He began his impressive 30-year career in the Secret Service as a Special Agent, starting in the Detroit Field Office. He was subsequently assigned to the Secret Service Fraud Division and was assigned to the Presidential Protective Division in 1991.
Between 2000 and 2006, he held a number of executive positions on the Presidential Protective Division, the Vice-Presidential Protective Division, Assistant Director, Office of Protective Operations, Deputy Director, and in 2006, Sullivan was appointed by President Bush to the position of Director and served in the role until his retirement in 2013.
In the private sector, Mr. Sullivan works with clients on a variety of domestic and international issues regarding cybersecurity, financial investigations, business due diligence, and major event security planning and execution. John S. Pistole, former FBI Deputy Director and Executive Assistant Director for national security, and former Administrator of the Transportation Security and Administration, became President of Anderson University (Anderson, Ind.) on March 1, 2015, the fifth person in the 100-year history of the University to serve as president.
In 1983, Pistole began his 26-year career with the FBI. After the attacks of September 11, 2001, Pistole was placed in charge of the FBI’s counterterrorism (CT) program, eventually becoming the FBI’s Executive Assistant Director for national security (CT and Counterintelligence). In 2004, Pistole was named Deputy Director for the FBI and served for nearly six years, working closely with Director Robert Mueller. In March 2006, Pistole was awarded the Presidential Rank of Distinguished Executive. In 2007, Pistole received the Department of Justice Edward H. Levi Award for Outstanding Professionalism and Exemplary Integrity. In 2010, he was awarded the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal by the Office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
Also in 2010, President Obama nominated and the U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed Pistole to be the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). In his role as Administrator of the TSA, Pistole led a 60,000-strong workforce and the security operations of more than 450 airports throughout the United States, while engaging international partners extensively. He served as Administrator for 4 ½ years and remains the longest-serving Administrator.
Pistole earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude from Anderson University in 1978. He went on to earn a juris doctorate (J.D.) from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University before going into practice for two years. In 2006, Anderson University honored Pistole with an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree. In 2009, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University.
He has served on the ODNI Senior Advisory Group and the Aspen Institute Homeland Security Group, now known as the Homeland Security Experts Group. Raymond Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of The Guardian Group, has spent decades both in public service and in the private sector. Jody Weis served in the FBI for 23-years, holding every position from Special Agent to Deputy Assistant Director. Edward (Ed) Davis was Police Commissioner of the Boston Police Department for seven years where he oversaw security operations for six world championship celebrations, the Occupy Boston Movement and led the highly successful response to the Boston Marathon bombing. Rich Staropoli has spent a career leading security initiatives in the private sector and in public service, with his most recent post as Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Previous to his tenure at the DHS, Mr. Staropoli was Managing Director, Counter-Party Risk/Chief Information Security Officer at Fortress Investment Group. Chiko started her career as a Hawaii State Narcotics Investigator and was also deputized as a United States Customs Agent. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa; and a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Criminal Justice Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Previously, Secretary Gutierrez spent nearly thirty years with Kellogg Company, a global manufacturer and marketer of well-known food brands. After assignments in Latin America, Canada, Asia, and the United States, he became President and Chief Executive Officer of Kellogg in 1999 − the youngest CEO in the company's hundred year history. In April 2000, he was named Chairman of the Board of Kellogg Company.
Secretary Gutierrez joined ASG from Citi, where he was Vice Chairman of the Institutional Clients Group and a member of the Senior Strategic Advisory Group.
He currently serves as the Chair of the National Foreign Trade Council and of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Cuba Business Council, and is on the boards of the Chamber's U.S.-India Business Council and the Boao Forum for Asia. He also serves on the boards of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, MetLife, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Viridis Learning, and the George W. Bush Institute’s Human Freedom Advisory Council. Secretary Gutierrez was born in Havana, Cuba. He is married to Edilia, and has three grown children. He is based in Washington, DC.

Beginning by playing college football for the University of Tennessee and earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, he joined the New England Patriots as a first-round draft pick in 2008, going on to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
